Where It All Began
Founded in 1991, Squareline stems from a rich heritage of interior craftsmanship. Inspired by generations of artisans, founder Mrad Baroud transformed early hands-on experience into a lifelong pursuit of refined, purposeful design. Today, Squareline reflects that legacy where timeless aesthetics meet precise execution.
1993
A Legacy Reignited
At the age of 18, the founder made a deliberate decision to continue the legacy his family had cultivated. Interior design and fitout were not just career choices, they were an intrinsic part of his identity. In 1993, he successfully completed his first commissioned project. This milestone marked the formal beginning of his professional journey and set the foundation for what would become Squareline.
2008
From Lebanon to Dubai
Between 1993 and 2008, he oversaw the successful completion of more than 200 interior projects across Lebanon. Each commission played a pivotal role in refining his craftsmanship, cultivating a discerning eye for detail, and strengthening his enduring passion for purposeful design.
PRESENT
Where We Stand Today
Driven by a deep passion for design, Mrad Baroud relocated to Dubai to expand his vision. His dedication to craftsmanship and detail quickly earned recognition, establishing Squareline as a trusted name in the region’s design industry. Built on decades of perseverance, integrity, and refined execution, Squareline has grown from a single project into a studio renowned for its timeless elegance and purposeful design. Each space we create reflects a story of passion, resilience, and enduring craftsmanship.
